JEF Talks: Democracy Under Pressure

This edition of JEF Talks was part of a JEF Europe-wide campaign named Democracy Under Attack with the aim of raise awareness on the threats that democracy faces in Europe and beyond.

The event consisted of four panellists who would give their views in response to questions posed by the moderator as well as by the attendees near the end of the event. The panellists were Rafel Grima, an activist involved in Moviment Graffitti, Jean Claude Cachia, a lecturer at the Institute for European Studies, Ranier Fsadni, a lecturer at the Department of Anthropological Sciences, and Chloë Cauchi, a law student involved in National Youth Council (KNŻ). Questions formulated by the JEF Malta executive relating to democratic values in the context of the European Union were asked.
