JEF Talks: Learn about EU Career Opportunities
On the 28th of February, at the KSU-PWC Common Room, JEF Malta and EU Careers Malta held a panel discussion hosted by the EU Careers Student Ambassadors at the University of Malta. This discussion provided attendees with information about careers at the European Union, traineeships at European institutions and the ins and outs about the application procedure.
This event targeted an audience which were interested in an international career and would like to work in a dynamic environment. JEF Malta and EU Careers Malta invited the public to attend a panel discussion hosted by the EU Careers Student Ambassadors at the University of Malta. This event provided information about careers at the European Union, traineeships at European institutions and the ins and outs about the application procedure. During this event, several guest speakers provided an overview of the opportunities towards personal and professional development of the audience at the European Union in different departments, and allowed attendees to learn from people with first-hand experience.
The event took the form of a panel discussion between students and expert panellists, with wide-ranging knowledge on the topics in question, and some who have a distinct and unique first-hand experience of what is being discussed. The expert panellists that took part in this event were: Elaine Cordina, David Schembri and Faith Spearing. Panellists were given time to answer a few curated questions, and after which the stage was handed to the people in attendance to ask questions and voice their opinions.
