JEF Malta at KSU Freshers’ Week 2024
JEF Malta had an exciting and vibrant presence at KSU’s Freshers’ Week 2024 at the University of Malta, where we connected with students eager to learn about European affairs and youth activism. Our stand was a hub of activity throughout the week, featuring interactive experiences that reflected the spirit of JEF Malta.
We hosted an engaging EU-themed game, where students tested their knowledge of European Union countries in limited time. To add a local touch, we treated members to traditional Maltese pastizzi , giving them a taste of Malta’s culture while discussing Europe. In addition to our engaging activities, we offered exclusive merchandise, including newly branded items that were eagerly snapped up by students. We also organised a giveaway, allowing participants the chance to win, further adding to the excitement at our stand. Our team was on hand to share information about our local programs, such as debates, workshops, and EU simulations, as well as visits to EU institutions.
Overall, Freshers’ Week 2024 was a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to JEF Malta, showcase the diverse opportunities we offer, and foster new connections with young people passionate about a united and democratic Europe. In total we welcomed 163 new members.
